Our Story
A Heritage Built on Passion
The Al Asaad family's connection to watches and collecting spans generations. It began with the late Mr. Mahmoud Al Asaad (1940–2023), whose lifelong passion for fine timepieces, rare medals, coins, and distinguished collectibles created a strong foundation of knowledge, appreciation, and trust.
This passion continued through the next generation. His eldest son, Mr. Mohammad Al Asaad, has been active in Dubai's luxury watch market since 2006 through The Store FZCO, specializing in high-end modern and contemporary timepieces. His son Ahmad also grew up closely connected to this world, developing his own professional path within the luxury watch industry and collecting field.
Together, these experiences reflect a family tradition shaped by horology, collecting, and a deep appreciation for exceptional pieces — a heritage that continues to evolve across generations.

The Founder
Founder of Golden Age — Ahmad Al Asaad
Ahmad Al Asaad, 41, was born in Jordan and completed his university studies in 2009 with a degree in Management Information Systems. Raised in a family deeply connected to watches and collecting, his interest in horology developed from an early age and soon became a professional path.
Between 2010 and 2016, he built hands-on experience within the luxury watch industry, working with Breitling SA as an Operations Manager and Chopard as a Sales Manager, while also completing professional training and certifications with both brands. This experience strengthened his understanding of the technical, operational, and commercial sides of fine watchmaking.
In 2016, Ahmad launched Golden Age. Following the passing of his father, the late Mr. Mahmoud Al Asaad, he chose to dedicate himself fully to the business, developing the family's collecting heritage into an internationally focused platform for rare, historical, royal, protocol, and exceptional pieces.
Today, he leads Golden Age as a specialized collectible house serving collectors worldwide, built on heritage, authenticity, provenance, rarity, and trust.
